Overview
This project focuses on creating a registration kit and branding campaign for the proposed 2036 Summer Olympic Games in Madrid, Spain. The goal is to build a cohesive visual identity that reflects the Olympic values of excellence, friendship, and respect, while capturing Madrid's cultural vibrancy and modern spirit. The project includes designing registration materials such as tickets, lanyards, wristbands, water bottles, stickers, and t-shirts, all unified through a consistent brand system. Overall, the project aims to show how thoughtful design can enhance the Olympic experience and celebrate the creativity and spirit of the host city.

Moodboard & Researching

These moodboards highlight the lively colors, patterns, and artistic style that inspired the overall look of my project. I was drawn to Madrid's rich design history, especially its use of bold shapes, warm tones, and vintage poster aesthetics that capture the city's energy and charm. I also used the mosaic as a main symbol throughout my designs, since its such a recognizable part of Madrid's art and architecture and ties together the idea of tradition and creativity in a modern way.
Logo Mark Sketches & Final Logo

The logo sketches were carefully crafted to balance, fun, energy, and cultural significance. I chose to incorporate mosaic-inspired elements, because mosaics have been a key part of Madrid's aesthetic heritage for centuries adorning buildings, plazas, and public spaces with vibrant patterns and textures. The Olympic flame was then integrated to symbolize passion and unity, tying the design together with purpose and meaning.
